Pool Openings & Closings

• Lower the Water Level
• High Water and Regular Closings Available

Drain and Winterize Equipment:

• Drain the pump, filter, heater, and any other connected equipment.

Blow out lines: 

• We use a high-powered blower to remove any remaining water from the plumbing lines.
• Add Anti-Freeze to the suction line and Skimmer
• Plug all return and suction lines.
• Install Gizzmo Winterizing Tube to help protect the skimmer from ice damage.

Gas and Electrical:

• Turn off gas supply to the heater
• Turn off timers and electrical to equipment

Remove and store equipment:

• Remove and store ladders, rollers, and solar covers.
• Remove Cartridge filters –Filter cleaning available upon request * (additional charge)
• Salt cells removed and lines plugged
• Remove skimmer basket and put return jets in basket
• All pump, filter and heater plugs are stored in the pump basket

Diving Boards:

• We do not remove diving boards unless requested in advance

Winterizing Chemicals:

• Test Water Chemistry
• Apply winterizing chemicals to help keep the water clean and slow algae growth.

Cover the pool:

• Use a properly sized winter cover to protect the pool from debris
• Fill and replace waterbags if required
• Replace seized or broken anchors if needed (may require a return visit)
